My Foster Dogs

(now Zena) Fostered May 18 - June 29, 2001 Adopted July 2, 2001 Sex Spayed female Age 8 mos. Breed shepherd mix Size 40 lbs; approx. 17 in. at shoulder History Zee was adopted from the shelter at 4 mos but was returned when her owners moved. Reason for fostering Zee was afraid of men and needed more socialization. She seems to be going through a "fear period" which she is expected to outgrow. Good with Adults, older children, dogs, and cats; may be too active for very small kids Best feature Zee is very affectionate and likes to be with people all the time. She is agile and lively and would be a great playmate for an older child or active adult. She will need plenty of exercise, but she is remarkably calm in the house. Training Zee is housetrained (with supervision) and crate trained, sits on cue, and comes when called. She knows how to fetch and is learning to walk on a loose leash.
